What method of sword handling should I use in Dragon Age Origins: Sword and Shield or Two-Handed?
My character in Dragon Age Origins will be a Warrior. I plan to make my character's strength his highest attribute. Personally, I'm sort of a fan of sword and shield. I want to be able to do a solid amount of damage, but also be able to protect myself well. I also want my character to have good abilities. My character will be wearing massive armor sets. Because my character will be the highest leveled member of the party, he will most likely be the one to be targeted by enemies almost always. Which method of sword handling will be best? WHEN I SAY TWO-HANDED, I MEAN HEAVY WEAPONS LIKE AXES AND SWORDS LIKE AGELESS, NOT DUAL-WIELDING TWO SWORDS!!What method of sword handling should I use in Dragon Age Origins: Sword and Shield or Two-Handed?
It kind of depends on who you plan on bringing with you in your party. For example if you plan on being the only tank then you probably want to go with sword and shield since you'll be able to take more damage before falling but if you plan on bringing Alistair or whoever as another tank with you then you could go with two handed since you won't be taking all of the attacks yourself and that way you can do more damage. It also depends on what you prefer two handed does do more damage but it is much slower and personally I find that annoying and although shield and sword does not have as many great moves as the other shield bash is extremely useful for when one of your party members has been knocked down by a mabari, werewolf, etc or when an ogre has grabbed one of your party members both those situations are usually death sentences for that person but with shield bash theres a good chance of freeing them so personally I prefer shield and sword.
FYI enemies do not attack the person thats highest leveled but the person doing the most damage unless you're using special attributes that attract enemiesWhat method of sword handling should I use in Dragon Age Origins: Sword and Shield or Two-Handed?
Well since you like sword and shield, go for it. Every weapon has their advantages and disadvantages. Two-handed weapons deal more damage, but are slow and give you less armor. So these are for killing enemies. .. um.. fast I guess. Sword and shield can attack fast, but also gives you better armor. You can also use your sheild to attack.
I mean if you have a two-handed guy on your team, be a sword and sheild to balance it out. Vice versa. Its your choice on how to grow your character! What method of sword handling should I use in Dragon Age Origins: Sword and Shield or Two-Handed?
I like having a sheild, more protection, and you can use it as a weapon.
