Go to your tactics screen. You might have it set to activate those spells under certain conditions. If that's not it, make sure you have the latest patch. It might be a bug.

How do you deactivate spells in Dragon Age: Origins?
My main character seems to permanently have Rock Armor, and other such spells, equipped. She seems to re-enchant herself when it stops, and its kind of bugging me. Is this supposed to happen? And if so, how do I prevent this?How do you deactivate spells in Dragon Age: Origins?
