Hi. As you know in the ultimate edition you get all the dlc. Well i was wondering, as i bought Awakening and RTO separately, will i still be able to play it again/ the game will work or what not.
Also I did have DA:O but it was borrowed, so would Dragon age Ultimate rewrite my old characters..Dragon Age origins ultimate edition question?
Okay, in order: Any dlc you already have will simply show that it was already installed (or allow you to reinstall it if it's gone. As for your characters, the game is still the same. As long as you still have the saves on your hard drive, it will load it just like the borrowed copy did. Saves are not specific to the disc, only to the username. Your characters will work with any copy of Origins.
The ultimate edition is still Dragon Age: Origins, just packaged with the extra stuff. Also, since you will have the awakening disc in the ultimate edition, you can trade in your other copy, as you won't need it anymore.
