What characters do you keep in dragon age awakening?

I am going to get the awakening soon, but I want to know if all of the party members will still be in there, I think they still will be, but what if I just create a new character? Can I get them back? Or just choose them when I make him/her?



Oh and-Is Alistair still a complete goofball in the expansion? I hope he is. ^.^What characters do you keep in dragon age awakening?
The only companion that will stay in your party is Ogrehn. If you made Alistair king in Origins or if you make a new character he will make a short appearance in Awakening. Wynne also shows up for a brief conversation. Other than that you won't see any other old companions.



Even though you don't see much of Alistair you get to recruit a mage named Anders who is almost his clone, they even use the same voice actor.
