My problem is I can't design a good looking character to save my life, all my characters end up looking like disproportionate inhuman freaks. There are just so many goddamn sliders I can't keep track of it!

Human males (Warriors %26amp; Roughes) with short hair %26amp; small stubble look pretty good to me , look for one of the presetts with the short hair
As for the charcters vioce i think they all sound a **** so it doesnt really matter but the one least annoying would be the Experienced vioce
I think dwarves are easy to design as they all look the same if you give them long hair %26amp; a long beard
I wouldnt worry to much as you could always hide them with a helmet later in the game lmao
But if you really must create a decent looking charcter go with a human warrior with short hair
I wouldnt let it get you down to much just enjoy the fantastic game that awaits you

The easiest thing to do is to choose a preset face that is close to what you want your character to look like. Then only change the sliders for things you want to make different, leave everything else where it is.
You can also go to dragon age nexus or the bioware social site and download some new preset heads that others have made.Dragon Age Origins Character Design Help!!!?
